  • 1/28 Just received an email from headquarters with an update on the Battlegrounds Queuing system, they're working on a bug found during their internal testing so we are still waiting on that update. (update on the Battlegrounds Queuing system の話)
  • We have added in the hidechat/hidevend system developed by our Section 9 volunteers. This allows you to press Shift+F11 to toggle visibility of chats and Ctrl+F11 to toggle visibility of vends on your screen.

  • Diadem/Crown pack will be on sale for 350 kp, this will give a random Diadem or Crown when opened
  • We have just received data from headquarters for a Lunar New Years Quest! Will have details posted soon about the quest but it involves the Malangdo Octopus festival, disguising one's self as a blue horse, and those crazy cats. (旧正月クエストだよ！)
  • There are two parts to the event: the Malangdo Octopus Festival, where players collect octopus legs and turn them into delicious takoyaki (grilled octopus dumplings). There is another quest taking place in there where you hunt the strange blue allicorns (unicorn/pegasus).

  • For a limited time, the Raffler NPC in Prontera will be offering tickets for a chance at high value items throughout the day.
  • Lucky Raphael arrives on classic for the first time! For two weeks the NPC will be in Prontera (113 246), just behind the Prontera Central Tool Shop.
  • This NPC let's you exchange zeny for a chance at a high value item. Even if you don't win you receive a consolation prize. The number of items you get from the consolation prize is also random.

  • Events 1310/8/2013
  • During this Jump Start Event, the amount of EXP required to get to the next level has been reduced!
  • Starting on October 16th after maintenance and running until the maintenance on November 13th, the experience to level from base level 1 to base level 60 has been cut in half!
  • In addition, the job exp required to level up to first class job 50 has been reduced for the event, though this does not include Extended class jobs. This applies on our Renewal Chaos server, and our Pre-Renewal Classic Loki server.
  • This makes it the perfect time to get in game and get your characters up to level 60 and higher if you're starting out in iRO, or to get some alt characters leveled up if you are already a RO veteran!

  • Aside from the DDOS attacks we have been hit with recently, the Renewal character server itself has not been having issues since we added an update to the server. As promised, a double exp event is arriving this week as this week's as compensation for the disconnects that happened last month.

  • We are looking at implementing the traditional mail access, so you would no longer need to travel to the Mail Annex to be able to send or receive mail. For periodic deletion of mails so that people do not use it as a secondary storage, what we will be doing is deleting mails that are over a month old starting at the end of this month. So mails sent on September 30th or earlier would be deleted on October 31st.

  • Tougher, more rewarding rare monsters appear in Rune Midgard. In addition to these Champion monster, a number of newer cardless monsters get their own monster drops!

  • This week we are introducing some real "mini-boss" monsters. Over 300 of these tougher versions of existing monsters will be introduced to the world of Rune Midgards, and will appear in the fields and dungeons where normal monsters are found.   • The 4 colored Poring Hairpins can be taken to the BigHairPinRX75 Machine to add enchanted slots to them. The success rate is 45% so many headgears may need to be accumulated to get the desired stat bonus. Each of the 6 basic stats can be enchanted from +1~+5.
